The last General Council Meeting was held on May 14, 2011 at 12:00pm, at Richard and Norma Dunsing’s home in Potter Valley. We will be updating our website with updates soon.
The Tribal Council is trying to make arrangements to hold some future MEETINGS IN UKIAH, or elsewhere, to try and ease people’s travel burden. Hopefully this will increase meeting attendance.
The Tribal Council would also like to develop a formal “CALLING TREE” and “EMAIL TREE” in order to dispense important information. We need a better way to spread information quickly. Mailing correspondence takes way too much time, paper and ink. The time it takes to prepare documents takes away from other projects. Work Sessions
WORK SESSIONS are at Loretta Davenport’s house. These work sessions are open to anyone, young or old, that want to help out. Please contact Loretta at (707) 964-9395 if you plan to volunteer. Elders are encouraged to attend so they can be interviewed. The first few work sessions will involve reading and organizing paperwork, and gathering statistical information on our membership.
